Marshal’s Office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship invitation for a meeting focusing on digital solutions in tourism

INVITATION

Marshal’s Office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship would like to invite students of programs held in English of the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management of Nicolaus Copernicus University to take part in a meeting focusing on digital solutions in tourism and everyday life!

The event will take place on Friday, 5th of November 2021 (9 a.m. - 2 p.m.).

The event is a part of the European project “Supporting democratic union and active citizenship in digital era” within Europe for Citizens Programme.

Please be aware that the limit of participants for the meeting on 5th of November is 30 students. The order of applications decides who will be able to participate so don’t be late!

The students qualified for the meeting on 5th of November will be informed about meeting place via e-mail.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Program of the meeting:

PART I

  1. Presentation of e-projects implemented by the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship
  2. Digitourism – tourism of tomorrow and its challenges – presentation of the project, developed action plan and good practices using VR and AR technologies (from the voivodeship and the world).
  3. Culture in range 2.0 – presentation of the project, achievements in the field of digitization of cultural resources, possibilities and plans for the future

PART II

  1. Visit at the Digitization Laboratory of the District Museum in Toruń (Old Town Hall) - methods and tools of the digitization of museum exhibits, including a high-tech 3D scanner.
  2. Visit to the museum “Nicolaus Copernicus House” in Toruń – a tour of the museum based on augmented and virtual reality.
