Prof. Magdalena Osinska, Chair of the Council of the Academic Discipline of Economics and Finance, and Dr. Aranka Ignasiak-Szulc, Vice Dean for International Cooperation and Development of our Faculty, delivered a series of open lectures as part of the "International Fall Lectures", held annually at the School of Economics and Business Western Caspian University in Baku, Azerbaijan. The visit takes place from 16.10 - 20.10.2023, and its program also includes standard classes for students at the local university. 

The lectures delivered by Prof. Magdalena Osinska concerned economic forecasting in practice and economic transition in Poland. Dr. Aranka Ignasiak-Szulc's speeches focused on the economic and social consequences of the war in Ukraine from Poland's perspective and the positive social impact of the university from the perspective of an AACSB-accredited business school.

In addition to the lectures, representatives of our Faculty will also hold a series of meetings with students and staff of the host University. During the meetings with the University's authorities, strengthening scientific and didactic cooperation were discussed, as well as the development of a project application under the Visegrad Fund.

The visit is financed by the European Union, within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program.
