“What will help, and what threatens the survival of a company during the current crisis? What are the owners of companies doing to stay on the market?” - Scientists from our Faculty are looking for answers to these questions.
The researchers have started a survey among managers and owners of the companies to diagnose the key activities taken by companies during the pandemic. The main goal of the research is to identify the most important factors, which determine the survival of companies in the conditions of a dynamically growing crisis. As a result of the research is to identify urgent measures that should be implemented by the government and gather recommendations from entrepreneurs that will help save other companies.
“The effect of the project is to develop recommendations for decision-makers of economic life and to specify current and future actions to counteract spreading of the crisis” - explains Prof. Maciej Zastempowski, head of the Department of Enterprise Management from the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management of the Nicolaus Copernicus University.
The research team is made by prof. With Zastempowski; Prof. Paweł Chudziński from the Club of Partners of the Poznań University of Economics, Prof. Szymon Cyfert from the Poznań University of Economics and Prof. Wojciech Dyduch from the University of Economics in Katowice.
Research is directed to all types of enterprises (micro, small, medium and large, production, commercial and service). Managers and owners of companies who want to take part in the study should contact Prof. Zastempowski (mz@umk.pl). In the response they will get a link to the online survey, which will take up to 10 minutes to complete. The research will last until April 30 this year.
The project is under the patronage of the Entrepreneurship Council of the President of the Republic of Poland.
