Thanks to this solution, our PhD students have the opportunity to cooperate with experts recognized in the world of science with the universities from abroad at the beginning of their scientific career. The AC programme focuses upon the qualifications needed in cutting-edge science, such as the ability to apply effectively for national and international research grants, writing scientific publications to the highest world standards, and collecting, compiling and presenting data in line with the latest scientific trends. The school is open to doctoral students from all over the world thanks to the offer of classes entirely in English.

Each year, the proposed scientific projects are submitted by supervisors by 30th April. This year, projects are offered in the following areas: biological sciences, chemical sciences, earth and environment sciences, and fine arts and conservation of works of art. Topics of this year's projects together with their supervisors for the academic year 2020/2021 are available on Academia Copernicana website.
Recruitment takes place online. Scans of documents should be sent to academia.copernicana@umk.pl. Originals must be submitted for verification before the interview. The list of required documents is available on the AC website. AC also offers the possibility to hold an online interview for people from abroad or for those who cannot appear in person.
