Professor of NCU, Agata Sudolska, chair of the Department of Human Resource Management, has been elected the new chairwoman of the Scientific Management and Quality Discipline Council. The new chair took over from professor Aldona Glinska-Neweś, who was appointed by the NCU Rector to serve as Vice-Rector for Cooperation with Social and Business Environment.
The research interests of professor Agata Sudolska revolve around the issues of sustainable development of enterprises, in particular, building relationships with stakeholders, implementation of activities oriented to the creation of sustainable innovations and sustainable management of human capital. She is the author and co-author of more than 100 scientific papers, published in national and international publications. She has participated in many national and international research projects, including collaborations with the University of Angers in France, the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain and the University of Oulu in Finland. Dr. Agata Sudolska, Professor at NCU, is an expert of the Future Industry Platform Foundation on the development of future competencies in Polish industrial companies. She also works as a reviewer of research projects of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange and the Ministry of Education and Science and as an expert of the Polish Accreditation Commission.
The statutory tasks of the chairperson of the council of a scientific discipline include, in particular, representing the scientific discipline, organizing the work of the council of a scientific discipline, coordinating scientific activities carried out within the discipline, caring for the scientific development of the scientific discipline, substantive preparation of the process of evaluation of the quality of scientific activity, and organizing and conducting proceedings on scientific degrees.
NCU profesor Agata Sudolska will last as chairwoman until the end of the term of the University authorities.
